Lavender
Lavender has a long-established tradition as a folk remedy. The essential oil is extracted from the fresh flowering tops of the plant by steam distillation. There are over 100 constituents, and these can vary according to where the plant is grown. Our source has set the standard for true lavender producing consistently high quality essential oil. It is generally regarded as being the most versatile therapeutically of all essences.
Lavender is known to help with a number of conditions including bruises, burns, dermatitis, eczema, inflammations, insect bites and stings, insect repellant, (we also use citronella for this – see our insect repellant product), muscular aches and pains, psoriasis, rheumatism, sores, spots, sprains, all skin types, sunburn, wounds.

Aloe Vera and Seaweed Gel

Its qualities include antiseptic, bactericidal, fungicidal, and is useful for mature and sensitive skin, wrinkles, and toning the complexion. Also extensively used for its aroma in eau-de-cologne and toilet waters.

It also assists with arthritis, gout, poor circulation and rheumatism, and assists with respiratory problems such as asthma, bronchitis, chills, colic, coughs, laryngitis.

Rose: The essential oil or otto, is generally obtained by steam extraction from the fresh petals of the hybrid between the pink R. centifolia and the dark red R. gallica. This variety is known as rose de mai and has an abundance of rosy-purple flowers. Apart from its extensive use in perfumes and fragrances, it has many useful features including antiseptic, antiviral, and bactericidal.
